Be careful where you get the bottle from, OP.  As it may, or may not be glue.

It will take a s steady hand and some mineral oil to extricate the boot from your pooch.  I guess this is proof that a size 12 won't fit up his ass - very far.

ETA:  Second on the Gorilla Glue.  Used it on my old work boots.

That dog would probably scrape right off with a drywall knife or even an old credit card. Spray it with some WD40 if it doesn't want to come off.

Shoe goo, used it to reattach the heel of my hunting boots since the threading came out. $10 saved me $150 for a new pair.

How to fix broken boots.

1.  Are you a woman?  If Yes, go to step 3.  If no, go to step 2.

2.  Shoe goo, gorilla glue, or a repair shop.

3.  Congratulations, girlfriend, you get to go shoe shopping!  It should take at least 3 pairs of new shoes to replace a favorite old pair.
