I've wanted to see Willie Nelson play for literally 20 years. Never had the chance. He's playing this Sunday. I am willing to spend the $100 each for tickets.
Only had one person I could ask, the woman I broke up with who still wants to be with me. She said no because she's running a marathon that morning. There's no one else to ask. 
Update: I might have a date. I asked an older lady I know if she wants to go. She's almost 50. I'm 35. She gave me a maybe. Fuck it, that's better than nothing. |

In my teens, I grew to loathe seeing concerts with a date. I always wanted to move around and find a better spot, and it was so much easier without a chick in tow. Those days are gone for me, but the same concert principles apply. It's about freedom, forgetting about life, being entertained...no one cares if you're there solo. It's Willie, for God's sake. He wants you there. |

I love Willie's music, but I hated seeing him live.  He is the only act that I think sounds better on the album than live. He plays every song at 2x speed and just a portion of them at that. I was sorely disappointed, still love the cds though...Thanks for the heads up but I still really want to go and see for myself. Update: I might have a date.
