As a former cop I will respond to the first statement.
1. I don't care if I look like a coward. This is not a honor bound grudge match and I am not here for a fair street fight. 2. I don't care if you commie pinkos think using a taser makes me look like a pussy. Once again you seem to think this is personal. It isn't. This isn't some sort of test of manhood for me. It is a job. 3. Speed traps are usually set up because of complaints from fellow citizens. Perhaps I should go hide behind a gas station and read a book? But you will bitch about that too. I can't even finish. Commie idiots. |

The only one of those that I've actually witnessed was flashing lights to go through an intersection, and it was late at night with no traffic (except me), and I don't know where he was going.

This is also the part where I say "now I know that most cops are good," but I don't. I only know two cops in real life, and they're both badass, but so is anyone I choose to call my friend. Most cops I see abuse their power every day by parking illegally, talking on their cellphones while driving, drifting in and out of lanes without turn signals, flashing their lights to get out of intersections and power tripping like crazy. If you're a cop who's reading this, rather than being butt-hurt by people's perceptions of you, do something to change it. Write a fellow officer a ticket. Stick your neck out for us, rather than your colleague for a change. Do the right thing. We notice.

The first statement was about using 10 cops vs. 1 protestor. I don't care what commie protestors think. I care about doing my job correctly, safely and keeping my fellow officers safe. I am not bound by some street honor code to put my duty belt and gear in the trunk and have a WWF style cage match because some scumbag doesn't want to go to jail. |

It is the writing tickets for parking too far from the curb to people who are supporting a person who was wrongfully arrested is what makes some police forces look like thugs. |

I was never big on minor violations. Please understand that many times officers are responding to fellow citizens who are complaining about cars parking in front of their home or businesses. When a improperly parked car "causes" an accident folks start screaming for parking enforcement. A good part of being a cop is being damned if you do and damned if you don't. |

All it takes is a lucky punch and you are out cold and possibly dead. You aren't the baddest motherfucker you ever met....even Mike Tyson got his ass kicked. Everyone does.
