Help me with strategy here.

I realize that it doesn't always come out to 'vote for who you like'.  Sometimes it's a matter of voting for whom has the ability to overpower the guy you DON'T like.

I'm having a hard time reading the Gallup poll...  I hear Cain everywhere and he seems to be gaining steam, but Perry shows 3rd with nothing but negative press.

Essentially––I prefer Perry first.  But will gladly go with Cain.  Job #1 to me is NOT ROMNEY.  I guess, as things stand now, who looks like the likely one to be able to push over the top?

Then taking that a second step, thinking about the general election, can any of the non-Romney's stand a chance against O?

This is a lot more than I bargained for.

Thye last thing I would do is ask advice on who to vote for. Be your own man.

Not who to vote, how to look at the ranks and strategize.

I've got who I WANT, but am willing to vote for another if it means that the man you DO NOT WANT will be ousted.  I'd rather my vote count towards something than be essentially a throwaway.
