well not really an 'agent' but still hot... https://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/25/nyregion/anna-fermanova-sentenced-for-trying-to-smuggle-weapon-scopes-to-russia.html?ref=nyregion Mr. Palmer said his client, with the help of her soon-to-be ex-husband, bought the scopes legally in the United States and tried to sell them illegally to men in Russia who, she believed, were hunters. Ms. Fermanova has pleaded guilty to the unlicensed export of an item on the United States Munitions List, military defense items subject to government control. "I just wanted to say that I was truly sorry for what I did,” Ms. Fermanova said, wiping away tears. "I completely realize it was a really foolish act. It was a means to make a little extra cash.” Mr. Palmer argued for a sentence of probation because, he said, Ms. Fermanova, who was born in Latvia but is a United States citizen living in Texas, did not know that the items could have slipped into the wrong hands. The recommended sentence in such a case is 46 months in prison. "As far as she is concerned, the hunters that were buying them were rich,” Mr. Palmer said. The judge, Carol Bagley Amon, seemed less than sympathetic to the argument. "The court recognizes that these items are not as dangerous as other items on the list,” she said. But, she said, "they could have easily gotten out of the hands of hunters into another stream of commerce.” ![]() |

Daaaamn. 4 months? She just came back into Dallas, but it looks like she's not coming back to after Dec.5. I know a friend of hers on Facebook and was wondering why they both went to NY, now I know.
She's pretty good looking, but nothing extraordinary. You take away the "spy" angle and she's just a regular looking girl. Her friend is much, much hotter. |

Considering nightvision can be bought on the internet and shipped pretty much anywhere this is really just a load of shit. And that a lot of the cheaper night vision scopes were actually made IN russia originally means this could be a lot to do about nothing. Or maybe she is a spy. |

NIGHT VISION Scopes. Key detail, that. So at this point in the game we still seriously think the whole world doesn't have copies of the technology we let civvies have here? ![]() I'm sure the Taliban would like some nice gen 3 night vision scopes for their PKMs. |

...Ms. Fermanova, who was born in Latvia...
I was in Latvia for a week about 18 months ago and I am going back again next month. Downtown Riga at night is filled with women that look like her. Google image search "latvia blonde parade". Riga in the summer is hard to beat. Sun doesn't set until crazy late, women everywhere, incredible weather. I don't know about November, though. |

Last time I went it was May and the long days definitely threw me off a bit. Not looking forward to a cold trip late in November but I will take it. This time I get a couple of days in Tallinn, Estonia...never been there. |

While I agree that ou export laws could use some work (especially what is covered by ITAR, shit like small arms, optics, and most NVG are pointless), you are totally wrong on the last part. The Taliban will use all the hitech shit they can get their hands on. They have no aversion to using advanced tech to kill US troops and our allies. You often see shit that "shouldnt be there", and that's with there propensity to cart off anything that isnt obliterated after the end of a given fight. The primary reason you don't see more NODs, advanced weapons, ect is simply money. You can't equip fighters with 4k NVGs when the average income is less than 1k a year. If if a given faction had the money to do that (which they generally don't) people would just take that shit and run off to sell it. |

And they're well-educated, speak English, and don't come with the American female factory-default entitlement setting. |
