No, and I don't intend to. COD has gone downhill since MW1, and I switched to BFBC2 after MW2 dropped. Much better gameplay IMO. Bullet drop is the shit too.
Keep in mind that Treyarch versions have usually sucked the big one, and IW puts out the better iterations. Even though this one is made by a company calling itself IW, keep in mind that it is a shell of it's former self. Since most of the dev crew left with the execs, it's pretty much Activision's puppet 100% now. |
| I'm going to buy the game when it comes out because I think I might be half retarted. I've bought all the COD games since WaW. Every time I hope there will be something new that makes buying the new game worth it. Everytime I am dissapointed. The only thing I've played in the past 6 months is the Zombies and this one wont have that. So I'll have to play multi player and just be pissed off the whole time cause I'll have to listen to some little kids talk about my mom cause I'm such a bitch camper or some shit like that. Even though this game will be the exact same fucking game I've been playing for the past four years, and even though I know I'll just be pissed the whole time I play, I'm going to get the game the day it comes out. Like I said. I think I'm half retarded. |

Quoted: Midnight release of BF3 tonight. Everyone will be cancelling their MW3 preorders tomorrow morning, trust me. ![]() I will likely end up with both, but I highly doubt many people who are into COD will be "converted" to BF3. COD players like COD gameplay, and same with BF players. Very little is changing with either series this year so I don't expect the player base or market share for either game to change much either. I expect to see a ton of copies of BF3 on craigslist for $30 or so right around the time MW3 comes out, so I'm waiting until then to buy. |

Quoted: Quoted: Why pre-order when you can pick up the pre-owned in a week at Gamestop for half the price...? Half price? ![]() More like buy pre-owned for $55 and have to pay another $10 to replace the used content codes in the box. Yeah if it goes game of the year (almost a given) you'll see it for 50 bucks in a year, maybe. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: No. I'd like to have it, but money is tight. What little money I have is used for my ammo allowance. $60 on a game or 250 rounds of 9mm? Ammo is free in MW3. ![]() That's true, but I don't think they have an IDPA or USPSA based map in cod. MW2 had a pretty cool shooting range. I don't know how many I've ran through that level. |

I have both MW3 and BF3 pre ordered and paid for in full. I'm gonna leave in a few hours to wait in line for BF3. You're crazy I've never pre-order, and I've bought every big name game for 360. I pick them up from Wally world at about 9:30am on release day on the way home from work. The one game it took nearly a month to get?? Super Mario Bros. Wii..... |

I've never understood the double standard about realism in movies and video games. People look at ridiculously outlandish and over the top movies like Rambo, Die Hard, Red Dawn and say, "OMG BEST MOVIE EVER!!! HE FUCKING KILLED EVERYONE!!!". People love them because the action is so crazy. But then when a game comes along that lets you fight invading Russian Paratroopers in the ruins of Washington DC after the atmosphere above it has been nuked they hate it and say, "WTF is this bullshit? That's not realistic AT ALL! This story makes no sense WTF, it's the same thing? ![]() |

Chose BF3 this time. I've gotten sick of CoD series. MW2 Pissed me off w/ the tactical nuke. Sweet I just have to cap the flag and I'm 10 steps away! TACTICAL NUKE INBOUND!!! Fuck you... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile it only sucks for those who cant get it |

I didn't mind MW2 so much, but Black Ops was terrible. The entire gameplay model seemed different to me and I quickly lost interest.
Battlefield 3 looks pretty interesting, as I've never played any of the BF games before. I honestly don't game too much anymore...just no time for it, but winter is coming and that usually means doing nothing for about 4 months straight. |

Don't mistake the opinions of two different people for a double standard. The same people that gripe about how unrealistic an action movie is are the same people to gripe about how unrealistic a video game is. The same people that love their Hollywood action over the top are the same people who have MW3 on pre-order. |
I have watched all the previews i can find on mwf3 and bf3 they both look pretty sick....mwf3 seems to be following the story and i looks to have the infinity ward graphics engine... . i ordered bf3 only for the single player. cod is way more funonline than bf series.
