It seems like people either HATE candy corn with a passion, or LOVE it. Me, I LOVE it. What about the Hive? |

Quoted:
Ha anyone ever glued them all together to make a cob? I always wanted to do that but never had the patience. It may be, because; I eat them and get a sugar rush and cant focus or concentrate on anything but eating another piece. I bet I could have lived for a million years and that never would have occurred to me |
| Candy corn reminds me of Granddad. He loved it the stuff. He always talked about how it reminded him of being a kid and how candy corn was one of the rare treats they would get. I don't care for it and don't buy it myself but if it's offered I'll eat a piece or two and think about Gramps. |

Have a love/hate relationship with it –– love eating it but hate that it's almost impossible to stop until the bag is gone. Candy corn, candy pumpkins, candy Indian corn –– it's all good. I have noticed a drop off in quality of taste lately though. It was better when they used real sugar to make it instead of corn syrup. Still, I'll eat the crap by the handful. |

They still use real sugar and honey in theirs. I love the stuff. |

I used to love it, but being my birthday is October 1st, my parents would always get me bags and bags of it, and then of course halloween time would bring more of it, and there was a variety around Thanksgiving as well. After many years I got sick of eating it. I probably haven't had more than a couple of handfuls in the last 25 years, but reading this thread has got me craving some. I think it also has to do with the good memories associated with it coming from my parents, and the fact that Mom no longer living, and Dad in the Nursing home, has me wanting to relive those memories by eating some of it.
Thanks OP, now I have to go buy some. |
