IMO, the muzzle break and the relocated front sight.

Houge grip, MI rail, Tapco brake, and 90degree gas block?

Looks like a normal AK-104 front sight on a tardified rifle.

Just waiting on my paperwork and the lower Ultimak rails and I will have my "Gardner" build complete....

Same thing as an underfolder safety.

Every time I see these types of threads, I'm reminded of the retarded double standard in that an AK must be kept in its original, historically correct/culturally authentic configuration while you're pretty much shunned as a noob if you DON'T modify your AR.

I don't see anything about the OP that seems poorly thought out, aside from the shorter sight radius.

my hands are big enough to reach the ak safety without a modified lever like that,
guess what,
the safety still sucks and is slower to manipulate than just about any other modern rifle

FIFY.  I had a UTG rail on a Romy 47.  Wasn't bad.  Wasn't great.  Then I got a -74 and put an ultimak on it and that was the perfect setup for me with an Aimpoint T1 on it, coupled with an ACE Folder and G27 style grip, and Surefire 6P LED.

I shortened up the sight radius on my SAR-3.  Mainly it was a way to fix the canted front sight base.  Tig'd a chunk of Saiga FSB on to the gas block.  Also built up some material to rebuild the bayo lug.  I didn't really care about the short sight radius since I run an optic on it.  I installed an AMD-65 stock so I could leave the side mounted optic installed with the stock folded.  Flash hider is a pinned and welded Yugo M-95 style.

Romanian Draco, not a 104 style gasblock/front sight.
