I don't like how bulky the Otterbox for the 4 is compared to my 3gs and the Life Proof looks interesting.
I'm really interested in how the charger port and headphone jack cover work. I haven't really found any good views of those. |

The headphone port is a screw in fixture that creates a seal. To use headphones you can buy their waterproof ones that also seal if you want waterproof. You can use any headphones otherwise to my knowledge.
Charging door: 
Don't own one, not my pic. I have an Otterbox and love it. Last I heard there were varying reviews on Lifeproof, though I can't recall what they are. I'm gonna pick one up in a few generations when they're more reputable. |

Got one and love it. Not as bulky as an otterbox. Doesnt stick to the inside of your pocket too. I have tried the otter box,
the incipio destryer and the ballistic SG case and this is the best so far. Kinda pricey but it is waterproof. I tested mine in a pool . Pretty cool and I wish I had just bought this one first. The other cases sit in the drawer now. Wont be as shock proof as the otterbox but I dont hate carrying my phone around anymore. Hope this helps. |
