I thought banners were only for gun related advertisers? Or is it just that only gun related people try to advertise here?

Noticed this as well.

Are they owned by a gun manufacture or something?

Typically we stick to gun companies even if approached by non-gun companies, but it's never an exclusion. These guys are here for a month to see the type of response they get. It's another service like Expedia or Travelocity, but they guarantee prices or put money back in your pocket. I checked them out earlier for an upcoming trip and really have nothing to say other than it's a very similar interface, the price guarantee is nice, and I might try them out. I often get pissed when I buy tickets to see the price drop later, but really don't travel that much to be more than irked.

Anyhow, I wish them well and hope this works for them. I'd like to see more companies seeing the value of the firearm community and opening their eyes to this market.

(BTW did you see who else is new? It's a great thing to see Colt applying itself to the consumer markets and a pleasure to have them here!)

This is a very valid point to mention.  Firearms and shooting sports gaining more mainstream acceptance has more positives than negatives for sure.

The ad mini-banners seem to cycle. There are a limited number of slots across the page and I suspect there are many more advertisers than that.

I tried their site to price out a trip from the US to the PI.

It defaulted to non-stop, wouldn't let me change any options, and thusly reported no flights could be found.

Fail.

It's nice that they are here, but the site sucks, and I won't miss em if they're outta here.

Besides, we've got Sharon and she's awesome.
