I don't watch any football, never had an interest, but I keep hearing about fantasy football and it sounds like a jock version of a role playing game. So can someone give me a simple break down of how it works? How do you choose your players? How do your fantasy team compete against other teams? |

I joined a league at work this year for the first time ever. It's kind of cool, only because it adds interest to watching games with teams I previously didn't care about.
I do not understand the freaks that research it all week. Unless you are in it for a lot of money, who cares? |

Thanks. Damn thing is more complicated than I thought.. ![]() |

Exactly why I don't do it. Once I get interested in something, my perfectionist brain takes over... then I can't do anything else on Sundays. I would probably play if I gave a shit about football (beyond the obligatory "go pats!") since it would just be another part of the hobby to waste time on. I don't give a shit about football though, so this 'game' seems more like work than fun. |

Quoted: basically everyone "Drafts" players for each position then you get points for how well your players do that week for me it makes watching football more enjoyable, because now i watch teams that i normally would not care about This. Also, you can test your opinions about who's hot and who's not and have some ammunition to take to work on Monday when you express said opinions. |
