| What's the best encrypted flash drive for general use? |

I use the Ironkey. It has resident Firefox installed, a proxy is included albeit it's can be slow or unavailable at times. The version of Firefox remembers all your log-ins (if you choose) so you can auto log-in and not have to remember a dozen p/w's which was the reason I got it. It has a virtual on-screen keyboard so you can avoid the possibly of a keyboard logger if you're using a public computer. You can recover your IK password if you forget it and you can back up your data on-line, encrypted of course, there are a few other on-line management features. As pointed out, if someone tries to crack your IK p/w it will self destruct after 10 tries. They have two flavors, an S and a D iirc. One has higher speed RAM, the other is more for archival use. |
