I just don't get it. There are a ton of guys in my office that have done nothing but waste hours on it for the last few weeks and now it is pretty much killing today too. I just can't bring myself to even fake interest in it.

The best way to develop and maintain an interest, is to put about $500 on your picks. You start paying attention, and before you know it, you're a walking football encyclopedia, on par with Rain Man.

This is my first season. As a numbers guy and sports fan, it mixes two things I like. If it isn't your thing, that's fine too.

Hours? It takes a couple minutes to set my team. Then again I lost my kicker on the first play of the first game of the season.

I also left Jordy Nelson and Darren Sproles on the bench. (Forgot about Thursday game.) Yeah... there went 40 points and I lost by 30 points.

Well, I couldn't give less of a shit about professional sports so I think I will pass on that. LOL!

Match made in heaven.

We could probably reduce our workforce by 20% if there were no fantasy leagues lol

Picked him up as a late round flyer. Of course I didn't start him on Sunday

Hours?

Heck, maybe an hour and a half for the draft, and then the team is set.  You just watch the games and cheer for your guys, or (like yesterday for me) come home to find that the random WR you picked up last in the draft, Kenny Britt, scored 29 points for you and apparently the Bears D was absolutely rabid.

For me it isn't about winning games, it was just a way to get to know a few more position players, prove or disprove my theories on who's hot and who's not, and maybe talk a little smack along the way.  Nothing more than that.

We're on our third year of the same league at work. It's a blast. If Willis McGahee picks up at least 4 points tonight, I will have the highest score in week 1 in our 12 man league.

I've been playing since about '89.  Aside from getting burned out and quitting for a year, it's a lot of fun.

Tried to pick him up with my last pic in the draft. Of course he got picked by the person in front of me.
