So 2 weeks ago the guy who lives across the street had his house raided by County and Local PD.  They ended up filling the back of a 3/4 ton truck with Pot Plants and other things.

He didn't come home for a few days, I figured he was in jail

I read in the paper he was charged with Drug Trafficing, so I thought he'd be gone for a while

He has now been home for the last week and 1/2....after I read that paper I saw he could face 10 years in jail.

I'm not the biggest fan of this guy, and I'm wondering how long it usually takes to lock up the bad guys?

So if anyone could help me out with a probable time-table I'd appreciate it

Somebody threw his bail.

ETA, he's been arraigned, now he's out on bail. The judge will set a time for his trial. Could be months from now.

FWIW, just a guess on my part.

yep....what he said...he's out on bail, could be 2 week's, could be 2 yrs.  BUT..being out on bond....if he F's up, bond can be revoked...chances are it's through a bond Co. I would think a trafficking charge would be too high for a property bond

Depends on whether he thinks he can beat the charges. If he knows he is going down, he will probably pay his attorney to prolong th trial as long as possible, then appeals, etc. It could be years before he actually has to report to jail if convicted. Or he could be gone in a few months.
