I got an IPad. Then I can get the kindle app.
My pad can have a book on the screen at one time and a ballistic calculator the next.

One for me, One for my wife, and one for my daughter.

I have a Kindle and an iPad, I prefer the Kindle for reading for so many reasons. The Kindle battery lasts a month (2hrs+ day), doesn't weigh a metric ton, you can use it outside and with polarized sunglasses. What does that make me?

If you want an e-reader make sure it has a reflective screen like the
Kindle does, the reflective screens are far easier on your eyes.

My wife reads a lot. Got her a Kindle for Christmas, and it's one of the best presents I've ever gotten her. She even reads in the tub with the Kindle in a zip lock bag.
