Does Chrome have functions like FFox that are tracking blockers, script blockers, ad blockers and the like?  Should I wait for FFox 6?  I am currently running FFox 3.616 which is getting very slow and buggy.

No, on Chrome and addons.

Chrome is a brain dead browser that only little toy widgets are written for.  No Adblock, no YouTube downloaders, nothing really useable.

I use it occasionally just to keep it updated to the latest version, but that's all.

Okay then that explains the speed I was getting with it.  I'll wait for the FFox updates.

Chrome has adblock.  Don't know about Youtube downloaders, as I use jDownloader.

I switched from FF to Chrome and for me Chrome pretty has all the same add-ons (called extensions in Chrome) that I need.
I have Ad Block Plus, Ghostery, Fastest Chrome, New Tab Redirect, and several others just the same as when I used FF.

Is there a function for track me not like FF?

Even with a function like that, Chrome has a unique identification number on each install that can't be easily removed. I trust the hive (read:Mozilla/OSS) more than I trust Google as far as tracking goes (remember, that's what Google does for a living), but I don't really trust anyone. I refuse to install Chrome on any of my systems.

Yes.
It's called, believe it or not, TrackMeNot.

The adblock for chrome SUCKS.

I don't know what the reason is... but it's half of the FF version in terms of blocking shit.

I'd probably use Chrome, if I had all of my FF Add-Ons. It's the Add-Ons that make FF so damned cool, not the browser itself.

Thanks for the link!  I dug all over that chrome web store looking for those apps.  I must be looking in the wrong places.
