Got a pic of a few of them today. Armorer had them field stripped for a checkup before scenario training. Must have collected all the recoil springs for some reason.

Damn, must be a big department to have that many. I think we have 6 and they get used by 500 deputies.

This is at a regional academy/training center actually. I'm just finishing up the academy there- we have scenario testing in two weeks.

Are they a pretty blue color or something?

I wonder if it was done to prevent somebody from, say, putting a 17T's 'Simunitions' recoil spring into their REAL Glock-17 to see what would happen...

I always wanted one, just to dick around in my basement.  I did always hate using them at work, though, as the dept never really let you clean them, resulting in a lot of jams.

Sims is the best training.

but, damn it how do you get LEO's to not kick them away from the roll player when the role player goes down.

I always tell them the 17T's are for training but still cost alot so dont kick them.

ETA:
we used seperate mags too. Spray painted them blue also.
Great pic. too

I can buy the gun but ammo is a pain to find. I wish it were more available.

1997-2002 .380/9x19 GEN3 Glock's were still 2 pin.

Post 2002 models got the .357/.40 frame.

The bore is eccentric to the barrel outer diameter.
