Not to shit on your rant thread XCR which I thought was great but how about something you love. I'll start.I love the smell of burnt gun powder in the morning and the way it smells on a nice Winter day after it snows all night. Now isn't that just sweet!!!!!!!!!!

I love 1911s. I love the weight of them in the hand, the glide of the slide moving on the rails, that gentle tick of the trigger that sets them off. I love the recoil of the 1911. I love how simple it is to put all 8 rounds into one decent-sized group, rapid-fire, off-hand. The 1911 government model, loaded with 230gr hardball is the finest shooting experience known to man.
I love this world, being alive. Leaving for work every morning, the sun looks hazy through the leaves of the trees, and all around me the trees have different shades of green. The wind is cool through the open windows of my car. I thank God every day on my drive to work for letting me be alive to see all of this. Most people look up to talk to God...I find it more appropriate to look down. Way more things blessed with life on the ground. |

I love how there's two standards, one for Washington and one for us. Try running your personal finances like the US govt does and see how long you have food on the table.
I love how the mainstream media votes 90%+ for Obama and how a majority of Americans lap it up I love how Democrats and (we now see their true colors) Republicans have spent our grandchildren's grandchildren's money. I love how half of America votes for the guy that will give them more money. |

Gently squeezing a rifle trigger. Spending time with friends, girlfriend, and family The first drink from a ice cold bottle of soda, nitrogen still lingering on top the liquid inside. The first beer after a real honest to god hard days work. Taking my newphew to go shoot his BB gun The taste of my girlfriends kiss Playing paintball, specifically headshots and when I have breif moments of godlyness on the field (uncommon) Taking people to experience new things (whether it be paintball, bowfishing, fishing, hunting, shooting, knitting... Anything) just love to see them smile |

SORRY that I used the wrong gas. I remember watching a "how its made" show and I thought I remembered them saying that at the end of the bottling process a bit of nitrogen gas was added. |

I love being a free man living in a free country.
I love my family as dysfunctional as we may be. I love my friends and they might as weel be family for that matter. Beyond that.... The smell of saltwater and disel on a fishing boat. The sun rising over the lake. The sun setting on the sea. |

I love letting the clutch out on my Jeep, leaning back and creeping at about 1mph up and down our beach along the river while sipping bourbon and smoking a cigar.
I love my two girls and my little boy. I love my wife's sweet, southern ass. I love trout fishing, and bird hunting. I love my dog and my friends. I love my M&P 9mm and my Noveske Recon, and they love me. |
