What are your opinions of it? I'll be heading up north for a while in less than a week. Gonna get my Molson on when I'm up there cause I think its decent stuff.

I like it quite a bit.  I like Molson.  Keith's is good for a pitcher beer.

I do like Labatt, Moosehead and some of those funky Quebecois beers at 20-million % alcohol level.

I used to like Labatts and O'Keefe when I lived in Quebec.

All we get down here is watered down Molson...no better than American beer.

LaBatt Blue was my weapon of choice back when I was a practicing alcoholic.  Moosehead is damn fine too.

It's mostly 5.6 content there, so mind the intake.

Try some Labatt's Max Ice, or something like that...  all I remember was that it was 7 or 8% alcohol

I've not had Moosehead in years, but I remember it being terrible.

For the most part it's as crappy as our big 3 here in the states. Molson was bought out by InBev a few yrs ago I believe so it's got more in common with Bud than flavor and body. Canada is going through a micro-brew growth like we did 10 or so yrs ago, many of the better micro-brews are available in the cities. Many Canadians claim their beer is better than ours, (Molson vs Bud,) but in honesty that's like arguing over who has the ugliest wife.

You will find Leffe on tap in many places in/around Toronto and Calgary which surprised me as it's not so common down this way. Leffe is the Belgian equivilent to Bud from a output and distribution point of view but it's sooooooooo much better.

YMMV....Oh and I haven't actually seen beer in bags in all my travels up there but some claim it exists.

Molson sucks. Try to find some Granville Island. It's made here in Vancouver; a large brewery just bought them so it's going to be shipped all over Canada now, you used to only be able to get it here in the west.

Labatt's Blue when I was in Montreal for an air show was pretty cool. The waitress in the restaurant named Giselle with big titties and brunette hair was better. The blow job by the air show groupie and her hot little friend watching was the icing on the cake!

Rickards Red.

Hell, any of the Rickards brew is good, but the Red is outstanding.

Don't drink any more, but someday, if I ever fall off the wagon, I'll make the 6 hour drive to do it right.

It's expensive!  They tax the shit out of it.  A 6 pack of labatts in Vancouver is more expensive than a 12 pack in Anchorage.

Think the fact that AK has far and away the highest tax rates on alcohol in the country has anything to do with it?  Don't forget Freight either.

And still it's more expensive in Vancouver.  It has to be because of taxes.

Rickard's Red is the beer of choice in Canehda right now. Find it on tap!

I'm not a fan of the Molson. Put away a lot of it, and LaBatts too, but truth is... it just ain't that good.

Interesting story along those lines, I had some employees in town for a big project recently and one guy is from the Calgary area. We happened to be in grocery store picking up some snacks for the team as they were working long hours and couldn't always break for a food run. This employee of mine happen to notice a bottle of red wine (Yellow-Tail Cab,) was a little over $6 at the store but back home he pays almost $18 CAD for the same bottle. In fact Canadian Mist Whiskey, (which he's fond of) was nearly double the cost back home. Later we're all sitting around talking about cost of living between Canada and the US, the genera conclusion he made was that the cost of social programs while high all "washed out in the end." I didn't push the issue as I'm his boss and it wasn't appropriate but I think deep down he saw the problems of an expensive social state.

Moosehead.

Every now and then I get my hands on some from across the border.

I used to go up to Alberta a lot. I only saw two beers in the bars up there that were routinely drunk...Labatt's Blue and Coors. The Coors was brewed under license in Canada (I first saw this in 1987).
