I'm designing a widget.
A competitor has a patent detailing three features of a similar widget. My widget shares one of the three features of my competitors widget, but has no similarity to the other two features. My widget uses a completely different mechanism to accomplish feature 2, and feature 3 is absent from my product. Is this patent infringement? |

Sounds like at least your competitor can make your widget cost you a lot of money...
For a real answer, you need to see a patent attorney with the technical details. I don't think you can get a good answer anwhere without that happening, and I doubt you want to share those details on-line. |

Sounds like you think Feature 2 would be able to save you from infringing? Unlikely. |
