Titled :IRS notification

from "IRS" <[email protected]>

With two attachments....should I fo?

It also is carbon copied CC to a bunch of other random email accounts along with mine

Sure. "Timmeh" Geithner probably re-did your returns and found tons of cash you are owed.

What could go wrong?....

They are scams, the IRS does not send out emails to taxpayers.

I can send an email to you that says it came from [email protected] if I want. Never open an attachment that you aren't expecting and never click a link.

Don't open the attachments. If the IRS want to contact you they will send snail mail.
