When you open AR15.com or a new page while you're here, or refresh the page, do you check the IM icon at the top to see if it's blinking red?

Not until ARlady pointed out that is how you can tell you have new messages. First time I ever opened it I had about 30 messages and most were months old.

Poor darkhelmet.  That's OK, no one IM's me either.  ICQ # 86830545.

Can you tell I'm bored?

Yes, for incoming IMs only! It's not working for outgoing IMs, all I get is a 'Sorry, But That User's Mailbox is Full' message!

Even though that user's mailbox is not full!

I know, I've checked!

No one chats with me over IM, raf!

They send me IMs, but it's pretty much a one way conversation.

I wind up having to send them an e-mail or sometimes I'll actually post a reply to a thread I know they're on!

So, I'm just out in the cold, IM-wise.

All of these problems are, of course, why God invented AOL IM (ICQ is a hacker's paradise).

I never see it blinking.. but I have had a couple IMs... would rather use AOL IM or MSN/Windows Messenger if they have it...

maybe that explains why you never reply... unless that's just an excuse ;)

I clicked it once a while back, but there wasn't anything in there.  I have no idea if it works or not...
What's the difference between that and emailing them?

It's just a lame excuse, actually! [:D]

No, you know better than that! You're invited to the Farm for the Hun Fun in the Sun Shoot at the end of Texas, so why should I shun your IMs?

Huh, huh, answer me that, buddy!
