That's awesome. That kid is lucky to have a Dad like that guy.

Nice shot.  DRT.  Sounded like a big bore, and with the short flight time and the way Marty dropped, I'm guessing .300 or .338 ultra magnum of some sort.  (RUM, Edge, Lapua, Weatherby, etc.).

Some of the comments are sooo retarded.

Rost. WTF happened there? I've never been curious enough to slice any guts. I cut around and dispose of the pile.

Much respect for a dude who shares that experience with his young daughter.

At most of the retarded comments were from outside the US.

I never get tired of seeing the camera zoom out after a shot like that.

I really want to shoot out to 1,000.

Jesus, I wouldn't take that shot and I'm pretty damn decent.

The way it fell back like that I thought he shot it through the hips but in the close up the blood is around the neck. Good shooting

I guess you have to be that far away when you hunt with kids. I know I was too busy beating on trees and chopping shit with my knife when I was little for my dad to get a shot at anything other than a squirrel.

Very impressive!!  Someday I hope to be able to hit a huge barn at that distance.

That was an impressive shot, but I've seen too many animals get up and run off after being crippled from shots too far away.

Before I watched the video I thought it would be some yahoo getting lucky with a shot he should have never taken.  After watching the video it's just apparent that this guy is just that good to make a clean kill even at that range.  Perfectly humane.

The comments under the video reflects how far people have come from reality.  Europeans have been completely indoctrinated into socialism, you can see it in their comments.

I am comfortable out to about 500. In the last year, I have bought a .300 RUM and a .300 H&H. Next is the Lapua. I want to do that at a thousand.
