Ok, I've missed out on some epic threads, and frankly it sucks.

So I propose a button on each thread that a person can click on (only once) when they feel the thread is approaching or at Epic status.  Then, at the top of GD, there can be a bright alert icon that you can click on to immediately go to the epic thread.

Of course, it would have to reach so many clicks before it would trigger an alert, but everyone would know about it quickly once it does, and it could make for even more entertainment.  

What say ye hive-mind?

In an old forum I used to frequent years ago... there was an option to rate threads (5 star system). So, you'd just click on the threads that were rated the highest.



But I don't think it really matters.

What would be more useful would be a "never see again" tab on topics so you can basically "ignore" a thread and it will never show up again to you.  That way it doesn't pollute your refreshing.

Epic Threads tend to stay in the first 10-15 threads of active topics.  I've never missed one that happened while I was logged on.
