Project Azorian was a secret project to recover a sunken/lost Russian nuclear submarine.
The plan had it all: Super secret cold war CIA project against the Ruskies. Leading edge engineering requirements on a MASSIVE scale (by Americans). Front companies that the public thought were a Howard Hughes scheme. A plot straight out of a James Bond movie. The title is Azorian- The Raising of K-129 A member here mentioned it a while back so I thought I'd take a look at it. It delivers ! (Also available via Netflix streaming content.) |
