Anyone using a baseball gear bag ,to tote their AR around? pics? I am thinking one would fit my 16in fine. I am also thinking a tennis racket bag could work?

Working on it.

Every other case looks worth stealing.

I play guitar.....so people see me with guitar cases normally.
My rectangular gun cases look like an electric guitar to the average onlooker.
I always thought about taking a spare case and fitting it for a rifle.....never got around to it but I'm sure it would work well.

Cool thing with an AR15 is you can break it down to upper and lower and keep them in a very small (non-gun looking) case.

I just want to leave my house without the neighbors knowing I have guns.

I use one to carry my photo lights and tripods.  I think a trombone case would work for an M4-style carbine.

I've done this.

I am also thinking of any bag that someone would not bother to steal out of my truck!  Any suggestions?

Just have this printed on any bag or case.

I like the look of that!! Did you sew pockets and padding?

There was a long thread about this a couple of years ago.  Guys were using guitar cases, large tennis racket bags, tool boxes... some of them were very clever.

I have seen guys show up at the range with ARs in basebal bat bags

I tried it.

Pain in the ass.

Love your vehicle in the garage with the garage door down.

None of my neighbors have ever seen me with a gun.

When I'm driving somewhere I just take the gun apart and fit the two halves into a suitcase or small duffel bag. Two pins is all it takes to shrink the size of the case.

This is what I use.

Small and compact and doesn't scream gun.

The bottom has padding.  The sides do not.  The padding on the bottom is thin, but it's enough if you don't throw the bag around.

There are zipper pockets all over the thing.  There's the exterior one on the left in the picture.  It holds three 30-rounders.  There's a large exterior zipper pocket on the right in the picture, and a zipper pocket on the bottom.  This bottom pocket spans the entire bottom of the bag, but the opening is just at the end.

There's also a small zipper pocket on the inside, as well as a non-zipper mesh pocket.

I got it at Dick's during some sale a few months ago.  I think I paid $25 or $30.

I use a U.S. Open tennis racket bag for my SBR

I paid almost nothing for the bag, because it was last year's U.S. Open, and it comes with three zippered compartments, additional small storage, and handles, shoulder strap and backpack straps.

My underfolder AK also fits perfectly in it - at the same time as my AR

A 16" AR fits in a Baby Martin soft gig bag.

An SBR fits in any tennis racket bag.
