I'm still using firefox. Every day I seem to find another reason why it sucks though.
6/1/2011 11:19:36 AM EDT
[#2]
I switched from Firefox to Chrome because I got tired of restarting Firefox every week (due to memory leaks).

IE and Firefox suck. Using Chrome now til I find something better.

Firefox works great for me.  I loaded IE9 on my wife's PC, and I have to say, I'm not a fan.  IE7 and IE8's interface was better.

ETA:  Still running version 3.X

Firefox.  I've not had any probs with it.

I've been using Firefox on three computers with good results for 11/2 yrs.

I've been using Opera since 1999.  I still keep other browsers around for when a site requires them, but it seems like every time I start FF, I have an update avalanche to wade through.  Yeah, I know I can disable auto updates, but fuck, man... c'mon.

Opera.

Who else remembers using Lynx, NCSA Mosaic, or Netscape Navigator?

Who else hated the <blink> tag?

Step 1: double-click Firefox icon.
Step 2: go get some coffee.
Step 3: return and enjoy the internet.

I switched to Chrome a while back.

Don't know which is better, but I'm using Firefox on one PC and IE8 on the other. Firefox is alright, no issues to report so far.

Opera is my favourite.

Firefox is a close second.

Chrome.  Firefox started having issues and I got sick of it.  Opera is a better browser, it's on my phone, but I like using Chrome more and didn't feel like installing a 3rd one on the computer as IE is integral to the OS.

Chrome > Opera > Firefox > IE9 > Safari

and I'm typing this on a Macbook Pro.

I hate Safari.

when you say your browser is 'better', better how exactly?

Hell, I still remember the managers of the interns that wrote mosaic.

Ditto, except in my case FF crashed multiple times a day.  I've been impressed with Chrome so far.

I was so happy the day I got a slip connection going over my dial-up session to the campus server.  I could use Netscape instead of Lynx and Pine!

Safari.

I like Chrome. Firefox is too bloated and slow.

I use chrome, I find it much faster than Mozilla. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to "set as background" when I click on a pic. Anyone know how?

I recently gave up on IE and have been very pleased with Firefox.

Haven't tried Chrome.

Chrome is awesome, but I haven't switched entirely from Firefox.  If I had a Mac or Windows partition, I'd definitely be using Safari.

So fast.

Firefox has been great up until I downloaded version 4. Now all I get is page hangups. I'm thinking of switching over to Chrome.

FF. I don't get how people have problems with it. Does your computer suck, or do you suck at computers?

I've been using Opera for years. Internet Exploder sucks.

I had been using Firefox for 4 years, until the most recent upgrade started causing it to crash like a 16 y.o. in a Mustang.

Chrome is much, much faster.

Well considering I have been using it for the past 4 years or so, I never had a problem until I installed the upgrade.

I like chrome a /lot/, but Firefox still gets 90% of my use.

I will not use Internet Explorer for anything unless it is the only option available.

Chrome is AWESOME
6/1/2011 1:12:11 PM EDT

After using FF3.6 and FF4, I switched to Chrome.  There are a few things that FF did better...  remembering URLs/sites in your address bar, the Firebug extension for web development works much better in FF than Chrome, but overall it's much faster.

Being a web developer, I have to use every browser on a regular basis.  The only one I hate with a burning passion is IE.  IE9 STILL doesn't render things correctly that work in every other browser.

FF is ok, Chrome is ok, IE 9 is ok.

Now Safari on the other hand, fucking blows.

Yep, but google scares me. It's all based on emotion, but whatever.

Google Chrome is by far the best.

Lots of awesome features... like highlighting words, and then right-clicking "Search Google", which searches Google for that highlited word or phrase.

Also if someone does a cold link, you can highlight the cold link... and right click "goto http://www.whatever.com"

Tabs are very unobtrusive. The toolbar is VERY minimalist...

Just tried the highlight word thing in FF and it does the same thing. Oh and linkafication for the cold link.
