A friend has a picture posted of an event and it has some Marines marching in it. The guide(or what ever the Corps calls them) is wearing a white cover and blue pants and everyone else is wearing green pants and cover?
Just curious as to why the difference? |

Because the Guide gets a set of free dress blues at graduation from boot camp. It has been a while, but I seem to remember this. Essentially #1 of the class. |

This, although as I remember it, the honor man from each was the one who got their blues. |
