| Alright, I have a serious problem with the ridiculous overuse of LOL. Really? Did you really laugh out loud at what you just said? If you did, fine. But, when I see "I don't like my rifle LOL. I think I might buy a new one LOL. How is the S&W MP15 LOL?" It gets a little ridiculous. We are not teenage girls. Just imagine how ridiculous you would sound in everyday conversation if after every sentence you literally laughed out loud. Let's cut 'er back a little. |

Alright, I have a serious problem with the ridiculous overuse of LOL. Really? lol Your life must be pretty uninteresting. Actually, if those who laugh out loud at some of the stuff they write LOL about, I would say their lives are pretty uninteresting. Sorry, I need something to actually be funny if I am going to laugh out loud about it. "I don't like my rifle, LOL" is not funny, so why laugh out loud? |

Here it is: Just imagine how ridiculous you would sound in everyday conversation if after every sentence you literally laughed out loud. Let's cut 'er back a little. The internet is DIFFERENT from a regular conversation in "real" life. I am naked right now. In an everyday conversation, I probably wouldn't be naked either. Different. |

I know people like that, and I don't trust them at all. When in the context of text, I prefer the satyrical LULZ |

i rofl'd..... guess im the odd one out... LOL
seriously, lol doesnt mean laugh out loud anymore, as it is more of a sign of being uncomfortable with what will happen next and having nothing else to say. also, it is a way for people to cover their ass if they think they will get flamed for whatever they just said/posted. LOL |
