If I wish to purchase raw milk the feds need to keep thier noses out of it. There were a lot of hard feelings last time I had to knock some sense into the enemies of pasteurization, let's just leave it at that for tonight. Wouldn't hurt my feelings as pasteurization is useful. I just prefer raw. ((shrugs)) |

Took her a long time to get used to the pasteurized stuff. Also, she was raised drinking well water. She can't stomach anything out of the faucet. Fiji or Acquapanna only, thank you. Point being, Aimless, have you accounted for TASTE, sir!!! ??? |

The risk is slight but there are reasons for the restrictions, kind of like inoculations. There is even a market for black market non pasteurized cheeses, I think smuggled in from France mainly. I don't miss well water, sulfur, pesticides blech. I remember my dad pouring bleach into our well before the water test to sell the house. Little e coli never hurt anyone. Google the story about the squabbles between the Fiji water company and the Fiji goverment last year or the year before, mildly interesting reading. edit Curse you EvanWilliams, I'll get you yet (sorry forgot) |
