I was just looking at another thread that had some NY AR's in it. Has a fixed bayonet EVER been used in a crime in NY? The last criminal use anywhere nationallyw as in the 1950s. Doesn't matter, really..the anti rationale has become that certain "militaristic" features don't belong on non-mil weapons, regardless of their actual criminal use. Never mind that the average citizens have owned and used the same firearms as the military for a long time. |
We have a 10day waiting period in CA, called the 'cooling-off period', so that someone doesn't go buy a gun and then go kill someone. ( )But, what is really stupid is that the law affects every purchase . Why would there need to be a 'cooling-off period' on a new gun, if I already have a gun I could use to go kill someone?![]() |

Of course, no matter how much sense that makes, you'll never win an argument with a democrat by using logic. stoooopid gun laws? gun free zones, restrictions on full auto, stamps/restrictions on SBRs and Suppressors ... |
