Yesterday, I filled in some gaps I have on a vault door with Quickrit. This morning I pulled off the form to see the stuff had expanded over the lip of the vault door preventing it from closing so now I have the choice of busting up the 12 hour old Quickrit or somehow sanding it down to clear the lip. The question here is, should I go ahead and bite the bullet and bust up this small area, (8" x 3") or try to grind it down?

What the hell is "Quickrit"

Do you mean Quikrete?

Quikrete does not expand...just chip it off and take some water on a rag after the residue.

Use a cutting wheel on a grinder.

Yes, sorry for the type Quickrete is correct. I've been grinding it for a little while with some success, seems I just need to keep putting some effort into it.
