There's a bill up for consideration in Ohio that would remove the ban on carrying in restaurants that serve alcohol. The Cincinnati news helpfully asks if conceal carry laws should allow for carry in "bars."
Perhaps we can help out Ohioans. We're currently losing this poll. Should concealed carry laws allow for handguns in bars?

Going into a "Bar" means sitting at the stool in Applebee's? Having a glass of wine with lunch at Olive Garden? Having a beer with wings at BW's after work? Jesus-fucking-alcoholism! PS every single comment is on the inherently biased nature of the question's wording. Must be ARFCOM at work.

Should concealed carry laws allow for handguns in bars? Yes (38.1%) No (61.9%) We're going through the same thing in NC. The measure is close to passing and the liberals heats are exploding. Simple shits just can't comprehend that a concealed carrier CANNOT drink alcohol. |

Skewed poll from the outset...it's not just bars, it's any establishment with a class D liquour permit, which is Chipotle, Applebees, even a place that does wine-tastings. It also includes pubs and bars, but they're not the majority of the holders of those permits. |
