A man allegedly trying to steal copper from a St. Martin Parish business was electrocuted and is in guarded condition at a local hospital.

About 15 years ago in the next town called Goffstown, some guy went into the old county nursing home to steal cooper wire.
He had been stealing the wire for a while until he reached the breaker box and was kiled when trying to remove the live three phase wire. The power was still on in the building because it was being used for storage by the county. His family put out a missing person report then told the police that he might be at the nursing home. Thats how he was found dead at the power box.. Later the Family filed a suit against the County, State, and Power company for having the power on in the building.. |
