@passionateRivera Short answer: "Yes." If we start doing a better job of deterring and stopping those fucking parasites from entering illegally, pay rates will start to rise again. It's not that legal citizens are somehow above doing the hard work or shitty jobs that illegals often find themselves in, it's just that folks who are here legally expect to make at least minimum wage. A black market labor force drives the overall cost of labor down, reducing EVERYONE'S pay.
