What is your favorite? Mine is a Cummins realtree camo hat, really nice fit and design. Pic in a few.

How do you wash yours, if ever?

I had not worn a hat daily in years, and now have for a few months.

I prefer the Urban Sombrero.

Deere hat I got "free" 3 years ago.

A well fitting hat is hard for me to find, I could put on 25 hats and one might feel comfortable.

It's a FNH Hat with their logo on it in ACU camo.

Fits my fat head just perfect.

Plus it was free

Nike Team Texas Tech M/L fitted cap.  Best I've had in a long time.  And it was free cause it was a gift so that's just a plus.

LaRue.  Next is one from a golf course, and I sometimes break out the White Oak Armament hat for range trips.

Whatever I have around. I miss the ol' nylon meshed back hats. A lot cooler during the summer months. Hard to find now...

I'm sure that I'm in the minority here but, I hate baseball hats. There's just something about a grown man wearing a baseball hat. It looks silly, IMO.

The only one that I own that I actually wear, is a BFL hat that I wear when I'm running.

(If you wear one, please don't be offended. It's simply a matter of personal taste.)

I don't really like wearing hats, the only time I do is when I go shooting. I got one of those $1 US Flag hats from LA Police Gear.

99 cent LAPG Tan American Flag hat

I have freakshow large head and that hat is one of the few I can find that is deep enough to accomodate my planitoid heed

Around here it's more common to see a man wearing a ball cap than not.

I was in The Blackbird in Medford Oregon, great store BTW, one time with my brother and my dad.
While in the hunting section I spotted a cammo hat for $4.00. I bought it and it is now my favorite hat.

You're gonna have to be a lot more specific that that. Seems I often find myself playing the role of contrarian in threads around here.

While I may not have garnered for myself the reputation of say... Dave_A, I've no doubt that I appear on more than few folks' "Ignore" lists.

C'est la vie. (It's the internet... it's all in good fun.)

Nope, just the camo hat and 3 of the FN Inert rounds for 5.7x28mm

Put it in the dish washer top rack so it won't get crunched in the cloths washer but don't wash it till you really need it cause the hat will change when it gets washed !

For most of my life I've worn a Red Sox hat...that or a UNC hat.  Hell, my nickname in highschool was "Matt Blue Hat"

To wash it, I used to wrap the brim with an elastic and throw it in the washer, then let it air dry.

I've got so many ball caps, the deer population around here could become endangered by providing me with enough racks to hang 'em all on.

That usually results in the front of the hat becoming crushed and wrinkled.

Even these things don't work in a dish/clothes washer.

Has anyone solved this?

I let it soak in warm soapy water in the sink, rinse, repeat a few times and then air dry.

When a hat needs washing it needs replacing.  I've probably left my home 50 times in the last 25 years without a hat.  My wife even keeps a "dress" hat for me so we can go steppin in style.  I've worn this one for most of the last 5 years:

I have a ton of hats. Various dallas sports teams, college teams, adidas nike etc. I lwear them quite often some i like more than others i am quite picky on how a hat fits if its doesnt fit just right i wont wear it. I dont bother washing them either just wear it till its too ugly to wear. I have tried washing them but they never fit the same and the bill gets weird so i just go buy a new one.

I hate ball caps.

The USMC cover is the way to go.

Not sure if putting the universal fit the grape tab in
the back would make it ghey... but I'd rather have that
than the ball cap.
