There is nothing in the world like a hot refreshing shower to reinvigorate you and make you feel like a new man, ready to face all the challenges of each new day!

This morning I showered with one of my two favorite brands of soap: Irish Spring, "the dooble deodorant soap" (as the Irish chap says with his accent in the commercial).

Ahhh, so refreshing.

But my other favorite brand of soap is Coast, "the eye opener" as it was called in the old ad campaigns.

And sometimes, I have a hard time deciding which I like better.

You know, I just can't decide which I prefer!

And so, I will put it to a vote here on ARFCOM.

Which brand of manly, refreshing, invigorating soap do YOU prefer in the shower?

Is it...

Or...

Poll is inbound.

I can only use those soaps in the summer when the humidity is higher. In the winter they dry out my baby skin.     I honestly use Dove or Oil of Olay soap in the winter.  LOL

IMO, if left with direct spray contact, Zest turns into a soft lump very quickly.  Pass...

The blonde in the Irish Spring commercial is Cindy Morgan.

She played Lacey Underall in "Caddyshack" and Yori in "Tron."

I don't like deodorant soaps for the most part.  Antibacterial and when the occasion calls for it finish with something like Axe.

I used Coast for years and years, but as I got older, my skin got dryer.  Now I have to use Dove.  I hate that shit - hate the way it lathers, hate the way it smells, hate the way my skin never feels clean.  But at least I'm not scratching like a monkey all the time now.

Why do men love Irish Spring so much? I hate the way it smells. To be fair, I hate artificial smells, period.

I use some fancy pants body wash.

Because it has two deodorants, and makes you smell like a fresh Irish spring day?

Bars of soap became obsolete when I discovered bodywash. Quicker, lathers up better, doesn't give me the itchy dry skin. I just use the cheapo Walmart brand. I will never go back.

I use Irish Spring with aloe. I hate the way other bar soap smells. I do like body wash stuff, but it runs out too quickly.
