As a former German citizen, potatoes are the best side dish/vegetable ever. My personal favorite preparation of potatoes is the tiny potatoes that were left over after the potatoes were harvested; my mom and grandma used to pick those up for free from farmers they knew. Boil, peel, and fry up in some butter until they get a little crispy, seasoned with just salt. Absolutely fantastic... |

They are alright... let me rant a little..... Potatoes, they came from the Americas and did not exist in Europe until the 1500s, like a few other things.... Potatoes are American, not Irish or German etc... same for Sweet Potatoes, Corn, Vanilla, Chocolate, Tomatoes, Tobacco, Strawberries, Peanuts.... Its all American! (north and south continents) (cultivated by the natives aka the got here earlier settlers from east asia/mongolia, but we are all here now) -Europeans and many others on earth didnt have too much until trade came along |

Oh come on, 88 to 1? Someone must agree with me!! Agree with you about what? Do you even know? In your other post you said you like fries but not mashed potatoes! The effing pole didn't ask whether you like mashed potatoes, it asked whether you like potatoes. If you like fries the you like potatoes. It's really pretty simple ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
