| I just got a Samsung Epic 4G that I really like. The problem is I can't get it to show up on my computer when I plug it in using the USB cable. What am I doing wrong? |

I had an Evo with programs installed that you couldn't remove that ran in the background. I have yet to find equivalent apps on iOS. OP, IIRC, a screen comes up when you plug the phone into our PC. It should allow you to choose a sync option. |

androids and iphones are both awesome phones. with that said i wanted a phone that i had total control over. i went with the evo, and rooted it. running cyanogen rom and i absolutely love it |

It's a good device, but has so much more potential. Cyanogen Mod 7 is going on, just need to insert a few tools since that ROM is more geared toward phones. |

Cool thing about the Nook is that it will boot from the SD card. No hackery needed. Found a CM7 bootable image and loaded it. Since the Nook only has one physical button, it leaves navigating a little tricky. Also doesn't have Market on it, but I'm working on getting around both of those problems. Oh, and CM7 got BlueTooth to work! |
