What is it with the flat hat bills and tucked in ears?

That jump was pretty sweet.

Evil had about 3" of suspension travel and a bike that weighted at least 100lbs more than a modern mx bike, hmm I don't recall him perfecting his jumps into a foam pit either.
Dude had balls, don't take that away from him.

Exactly!  I'm sure if the feedback was the side of a dirt berm, masonite ramp or concrete, these guys would be giving up the sport far sooner than it took them to master these tricks.

That being said, both Kneivel and these newer MX riders are pretty badass in their own unique ways.

The dude can flip a bike. Good for him.

But before you say he's better than Evil, let's see him do the same stuff Evil did. Oh, and with the same bike and showmanship Evil had.

Modern MX bikes have a lot more travel suspension which is a shitload easier to stick a landing.

Nobody is crazy enough to do ground breaking stunts (besides those Jackass guys) these days.

Evel will always, always, always, be the king. He was the first.

The older I get the more I realize that I am not blazing a path but I am following the beaten trail.

Every generation goes a little bit faster and a little bit further.  Evel did his stunts knowing damn well he probably wasn't going to walk away from it.  THAT is what makes him king.  Respect your elders!

Regardless, this guy was the first to pull this stunt, kudos to the man!
