I don't lnow how many of you have heard that they are thinking of passing a bill in sc which would lift the requirment of having a permit to ccw. How long should it take to pass the bill and do you think it will happen? 'i hope they do

While I don't have a dog in that hunt, it would be nice if they had reciprocity with GA finally.

Call your congressman's office, and governor's office, tell them you're interested in seeing it passed.

If it affects reciprocity with other states, I hope it fails.

You sir i am ashamed of. The CCW permit will be available still and the reciprocity laws will still apply. This will just allow you to ccw in sc without a permit

Sounds interesting but I have mixed feelings about it.

I am proud to have a concealed carry license and to have met the qualifications to have one. Kind of takes the specialness away if every tom, dick, and hooligan can have one.

They passed a similar law here in AZ recently but still have the CCW card system. I keep mine updated so I can skip the retarded background checks and walk out the door with my new toys in 10min. Cool story bro.

I hope it passes. Loaded handguns can be kept in your vehicle glove box without permit. This is the next logical step IMO.
