IP Addresses Are Running Out
Yes, our worldwide system of networks that comprise what we call the Internet is running out of IP addresses. Experts and pundits are predicting exactly when this will happen, and sensationalist news headlines are popping up all over the place, inflating the IP-address exhaustion issue into apocalyptic proportions—an "IPocalypse", if you will...

Public IP addresses already ran out like 3 weeks ago (i work for a Telco / Internet provider/ cell phone provider / cable TV provider) .
They need to reclaim IP address space from companies that went out of business (Nortel had a 10.X.X.X range and they choked out) . We have been trying to get Ip addresses for our company so we can expand but we only got a /18. we are IPV6 ready and compliant, but not too many websites are V6 ready. Oh well we don't need more web sites anyway. |
