They should do a re-make of it.

Get a MAME emulator and look for a ROM, now you can afford to finish it!

I practice shooting throwing knives out of the air with my CCW. (Still haven't figured out where to mount the rifle grenades on my Keltec.)

Go with the knock-off/sequel with the dual Mac-10s. If you bring enough quarters you can dual wield just like Chuck Norris!

Oh boy...now you've done it!  BTW, remember how many helicopters and armored vehicles the Uzi could take out?  I always thought Uzi's were the coolest guns when I was a little kid.  I would still like one, but only with the happy switch.

I think video arcades are pretty much dead.  The days of side scrollers and 2d fighters are pretty much over, sadly.  They could do a remake for X-Box Live or PSN, but a sturdy light gun like that would probably cost a bit more than most want to pay.

I keep wanting to set up mame but don't get around to it
I've wondered before and now seems like a decent time to ask: How does a game that used a gun in the arcade version work in mame?

This thread reminded me of the first time I ever played Operation Wolf. As cheesy as that game was I think it taught me in just one quarter that ammo is limited and reloads can be a bitch.

Blowing up APCs with an Uzi was awesome.

I had that one, and actually the controller was easier to use. You could hold on the choppers easier. You missed too much with the gun.

A buddy of mine bought the full sized arcade game when we were roommates. It was a bitch getting it down the stairs. I think he paid $200. He still has it.
