This is my first time dealing with this kind of situation, so forgive my ignorance...

On Thursday 1/27, my professor announced that we would be having an exam on Tuesday 2/8. At the close of class on Thursday, we had one more section to cover for the exam. The class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This week, the school has been closed since Tuesday, and we have missed both meetings of the class this week. The school will undoubtedly be open on 2/8.

Should I expect the exam to be given on that day?

I have been studying and preparing for it as if it were to be given on the announced day, but I am wondering what I can expect to actually take place.

Email the prof. Some would, some wouldn't.

I would prepare to take the exam on all the material covered so far.  If it doesn't happen then you are just ahead of the game when it happens.

In my experience, the test would be postponed, but you should email the teacher and ask just to be sure.

I would expect it... odds are they will either limit the material being tested or push the test back.  Unless he's the type of professor/class where you are expected to learn/read the material on your own.

Of course you should expect an exam. If the dates change, your professor would send out a mass email. Check your university email.

You know when the test is.  Prepare for it.  Email/call your prof and ask.

Just because school is cancelled does not cancel the teachers plans.
