Are your firearms choices based on a consistent pattern.

Example:
Fast and Small (9mm + AR15)
Slow and Heavy (.45 + 12 Gauge)

ETA: Capacity over caliber (more small holes over a lower number of big holes)

I fail. Sort of.

How many rounds fit in a hi cap .45. I think Glock 21 has 13+1. Single stack 1911 can hold 10+1. So 3 rounds +or- doesn't make much of a difference compared to 10 rounds of .45 v 16+ rounds of 9

Pick whichever you're more comfortable with. Then buy multiples.

I have 17 hand guns and 84 long guns so I have no set pattern in what I carry or what I pair on any given day.. I always have a 45 ACP no matter what as alll of my CCWs are in 45ACP my BOB has a Ruger MKII that lives in it.. Rifle/carbine can be anything from a single shot/lever/bolt/semi from 17 HMR to a 375 RUM..I also have a Mossy 835 turkey gun that lives full time in my truck..

Glock 19 and pinned 14.5" AR if I get 2 guns, SBR PS-90 if I can only have 1.
