| Seems like a decent option if you want to be able to shoot the .50 BMG every now and again without breaking the bank in terms of the gun itself and ammo. Seems to me to be a pretty good entry level option to shoot that round occasionally. |

I purchased a unit from Bohica after waiting on the list for over a year. The unit is well made and the customer service is good. My problem is finding a range that will allow me to use it.
I'd get the the metal forend option. There are lots of BOHICA threads in the .50 cal forum |

I have a BOHICA.
I bought one of the first MKIII's. This upper has gone through many changes and upgrades. Is it the best? Well for what it costs I would say that "you get what you pay for". For me it works fine, I don't shoot it much and when I do I am very careful about chambering technique. I like mine and haven't had any problems at all. 
I wanted to return my Bushmaster back to its stock configuration so I just purchased BOHICA's single shot lower and built it into a dedicated 50 BMG rifle.
