I don't think so.

I looked at it for a little bit, and still can't tell.

Can't tell either, looks like it might be folded down if there is one.

Because being a cop down there is much much more dangerous than here

Considering how the drug cartels operate in MX, the cops don't want to be known if they can help it.

That mag doesn't look fully seated, or a little longer. Might just be the camera angle.

ETA..Beat me to it.

Second thing I noticed after lack of rear sight.

So he can still have his part-time job at the cartel.

I was thinking it could be a slim BUIS folded down, but with the poor resolution and the light I couldn't tell.

It was the first odd thing I noticed.

Other than the guy doing the perp walk looks like he's too stupid to breathe.

No such thing as payroll records in Mexico?  Seriously it's gonna be covering his face in a photo shoot that keeps him under the radar of the drug cartels there?

What's going to have more exposure?  A picture in a newpaper/website or those who have access to a PD's payroll?

I'm not sure what you're saying to be honest.  If I were running a billion dollar crime syndicate I would be bribing the clerks who ran LE payrolls if I were looking to know who the cops were.  This seems more thorough than scouring the newspapers for pictures who I would then need to match the face with a name anyway.

I wonder why the Mexican cops are always made fun of.  If legit, good job for standing up for the law.  Here in the US they(cops) are sacrosanct , gods among us teaching us mere mortals all about the Law of the Land during those multi-patrol car heroic traffic stops; there they deal with some pretty potent thugs, shot at and bombed daily, family threatened and are considered clowns.

Without a doubt, no rear sight.  I've actually heard of guys preferring no rear sight for clearing/CQB.

Well obviously you understand what I'm saying because you argued against my point.  I don't know personally how the drug cartels in MX operate, but not everybody has the means to bribe a payroll clerk.  But will most people have access to a newspaper or news website?  Same reason why UC/swat officers are either blocked out on TV or wear facial coverings.
