Just read in American Rifleman that Aimpoint has just shipped its one millionth M68 CCO to the Army.

How is this possible....

There are at least a million m16s and m4s obviously.

Originally started with the original Comp M
then the Comp M2
Now the Comp M4

Besides for weapons being used, I am sure some went to an ally and I am pretty sure the .mil likes to keep spares.

I don't know much about ARs etc or optics. Really I am a shotgunner. I do have a Colt 6920 and am looking to mount something for shooting at the range and home defense. The above mentioned optic is the same as the Comp M2? Is that correct?
My 6920 is basically the M4 in use currently correct?

So, that might be the optic I should consider.
One million can't be too wrong!!
