I believe that it should be kept simple. A handgun or rifle or both. A knife.
Don't make it look like it was taken in a gun shop. No need for Pmags & weapons covering the entire table. Save some guns for the next Dinner or Breakfast pic instead of all at once. I'm not saying I'm an expert, but this is all I need if some Zombie starts reaching for my bacon.

I was thinking about this same thing. It seems like scores are all over the map. Maybe something like:
Subject matter/thematic elements: 1-2 pts. Lighting/composition: 1-2 pts. Preparation pics: 1-2 pts. Food presentation/does it look good/placesetting: 2-3 pts. Firearm/reload/edged weapon presentation: 2-3 pts Extra qualifiers, i.e. killed it yourself, NFA/exotic weapons: 1-2 pts. |

In all seriousness, there are no "rules". That's what makes this place great. People use their creativity and run with it. - Some go for great looking, down-home comfort food - Some go for good looking food, really well presented with good photography - Some go for kill it and grill it - Some go for the whole arsenal and a few pieces of fried spam - Some go for any and all combinations of the above - Some just fail |

A knife of some sort is welcome and score extra points. Eating like a human, meaning utensils is a must and a napkins. Nice drink to watch it down is welcome too. |
