Thank you for changing your packaging from the convenient top corner flap to the new bag.  I love having your aquarium gravel cereal all over the fucking place because the bag is designed to tear down the side instead of opening at the seam where it should.  I'm sure this change was made for my benefit.  It's probably a stay-fresh bag.  I guess you were concerned that your cereal may dry out and get all hard and crunchy....fucking idiots.

I thought I was just being a complainer, but now that there are 2 of us complaining....Seriously, are they gonna get stale?
I also thought that the added use of plastic is damaging the environment, and this is exactly the type of polarizing issue Obama might be interested in addressing next.

I lol'd.
I hate that cereal.  It needs like 10 minutes of soak time before you can eat it.

Grape Nuts

Neither a grape nor a nut...Discuss!

Was the cereal Grape Nuts supposed to mean something, perhaps alluding to the fact that they are as tough to eat as the seed in a grape? I think its a good fit.

I could cut the corner off all neat like on my table saw too, but tools should not be required to open a box of cereal.

It actually comes from the sugar originally used in the cereal that was derived from grapes and the creator's impression that it had a nutty taste.

Love grape nuts, and just experienced that bag last night.  Why o why must he glue be stronger then the bag?  What benefit does this serve?

I'm getting to old.  I actually just wrote Post a email stating my opinion of the new bag.
1/3/2011 5:04:09 AM EDT
[#38]
I've also started to boycott them and their devil cold breakfast cereal.

Not because of the bag though, I still have pretty good fine motor skills.

It was the pewp...and the farts that forced me to nearly quit.

I only eat it before special family events now.

Double rations if it is a event held in a public place.
1/3/2011 5:05:26 AM EDT

why is it that the glue used to seal the bags is not commercially available.....that shit would hold the space shuttle together
1/3/2011 5:08:15 AM EDT

Keep it in the bag.

Not like Grape Nuts will dry out.

It took 150 years to design a tin can that didn't require a tool to open, and the same amount of time to design a cereal box that does require a tool to open.

Isn't that plastic similar to that they use in bullet proof vests?

Yes.. Espeacilly after some fool eats the whole box by himself in one sit in..

When I use to work at a KIC back in the earky 90's, a health food nut Technician decided to eat a whole box of it by himself for breakfast. Needless to say it went from stomach irration, to cramps, sweatings, then none stop runs to the bathroom for the rest of the day.. The nurse laughed when she had to explain it to him, and advising him to next time "Read the box, and to follow its direction and warnings."
